About Us

I am Nadia Wallis.  For as long as I can remember I have had a love for animals and always feel at my best when I am with all kinds of little creatures.  I have always had a curious fascination of animal behavior and enjoy learning about the many facets of an animal’s character.  It has always been a hobby of mine to understand dog behavior.  It seemed the natural progression for me to end up here, where I am now the owner/operator of a pet care business.

I grew up with an assortment of pets in my life, but my strongest bond has always been with dogs and cats.  They bring a joy to life that is of their own and can be compared to none.  It is a relationship that is truly unique and a connection that can bring a sense of mysticism to one’s life through the magic of communication without having a common language.

I have received my canine first aid certificate from “DogSafe”.  I also have a dog behavior diploma from the Centre of Excellence and plan to further my studies in this field.

I look forward to welcoming your beloved furry family members into our home.  I am excited to get to know all their personalities and to provide them with an experience where they feel safe, stimulated, and loved while in my care.

We are a family of 4, along with some additional furry friends of our own. We offer a cozy home on a 1/2-acre, fully-fenced, landscaped property for dog daycare and overnight boarding.  Our property backs onto Granite Point Golf Course and is close to trails that lead to the Giveout Creek area.  Our house offers plenty of room for guests to find a comfortable space to relax.

My husband is a Professional Geologist, a position that has taken him all over the world.  He shares my interest in animals which is absolutely an item on the list of reasons I fell in love with him.

Our oldest daughter, who will be 5 in September, has been taught from birth the concept of gentle and to give space.  She seems to have a natural intuition around animals and has always remained calm and gentle with our furry ones, and others she has met along the way.  Her first word was “Puppy”.
Our second daughter who turns 2 in May, is in training to become another assistant pet care giver. She has enjoyed meeting all her new friends and shows the same promise as her sister, to be gentle and slow with all our visitors.

We are very excited to welcome your fur babies into our home!

Meet the team.

He’s cute and he loves animals.

The husband & father.

He is caring and loving and wonderfully charming. A Professional Geologist by trade, which takes him to far off lands. He shares my interest and passion for animals. I am certain your pets will adore him.

Our amazing girls.

Our daughters.

These are our girls. Soon to be 5 and 2. They are sweet and loving and excellent sisters. The eldest’s first word was “puppy”. The youngest loves all the animals she meets. They are ready to be a little helpers and offer a positive experience for your pet regarding child interactions. We have taught them both from birth how to be gentle and give animals space, we let pets come to us on their terms.

The furry crew.

Here are our furry residents that welcome your dogs and are ready to snuggle. Our pup is still in training and shows excellent promise. A controlled meet & greet will help to determine how well we can all get along. Our cats have only known households with dogs and are brave and at times maybe not the sharpest tools in the shed. We give our cats plenty of spaces to hide or get to where visitors can’t reach them however it is crucial that interactions with them remain positive and stress free.
